Seedco (http://www.seedco.org/) has released a report that details opportunities and pitfalls encountered when linking economic and workforce development systems.

Developed through 16 case studies of initiatives in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Illinois, the reviewed initiatives that proved most successful prioritized locally and regionally driven programming, carefully engaged businesses and incorporated their needs, and constructed program and financial models where partners share risk and rewards - which should sound very familiar to sector strategy policymakers and practitioners!
